| USP Grade Propylene Glycol is often used in flavoring or seasoning concentrates and also serves as a humectant, preservative and stabilizer in direct food applications such as baked or frozen goods. PG USP finds additional use as a solvent in elixirs and pharmaceutical preparations containing water-soluble ingredients. Additionally, it is used as a solvent and coupling agent in the formulation of sun screen lotion, shampoos, shaving creams and other similar personal care products. |
